Good morning from Kodiak Baptist Mission! It is a glorious morning and we're all soon going to

Yesterday, we learned about KBM.  We learned that the housing and food costs far exceed the income of most of the folks on the island, and we learned the issues in the local economy that make this so.  We learned that because of this, most employees at KBM live on the large mission.  We learned about cooperative efforts with local farmers, and about KBM's experiments with growing fresh produce for the food bank.  And we learned that Kodiak is gorgeous!!
