Worship Details
Hi everyone! Here are some worship updates for you from FBC Westwood:
This Sunday, March 21, we will begin worship in person at 10:45am. We will meet in Fellowship Hall. Please: bring your own folding chair, sit at least 6 feet from anyone not in your household, wear a mask that fully covers both your mouth and your nose, stay home if you feel ill or have been exposed to someone who is ill, and dress warmly as we will have doors open for circulation. We can have up 27 people (plus 3 staff: Steph, Jan, & Peter) in attendance. No rsvp necessary. Services will also be posted online and messages sent by mail to those without internet access.
Sunday, March 28: This is Palm Sunday. Worship will be the same as 3/21, except that at the end of worship we will go outdoors for a Palm Sunday parade.
Sunday, April 4: This is Easter. There will be two separate services:
Early service (6:30am) will be outdoors in Baker Chapel. Still plan to mask and bring your own chairs, etc.
Regular service will be indoor/outdoor at 10:45am. Same details as 3/21, except please plan to RSVP to the church office (office@fbcwestwood.org). First 27 people (plus 3 staff: Steph, Jan, & Peter) to RSVP will be indoors in Fellowship Hall. Everyone else will be outdoors in the courtyard.
Sunday April 11 and forward: Same as 3/21, as long as covid conditions stay the same or better, until it is warm enough to worship every Sunday outdoors in Baker Chapel.
Prayer and Communion continues on Thursday evenings (except for 3/25) at 7:20pm. Contact the church office or Pastor Steph if you need gotomeeting info. Maundy Thursday will be held in this format as well.
